Buyer’s Inspection
Buying a home is likely one of the largest investments you’ll ever make. That’s why it’s so crucial that buyers understand exactly what they’re getting into. During a buyer’s inspection, we form a close partnership with the buyer. We’ll be your guide as we explain any property defects or issues we uncover. We’ll also answer any questions you have.
Pre-Listing Inspection
If you’re selling a home or property, it’s a good idea to have it inspected before it’s listed. Houses with a pre-listing inspection are more attractive to potential buyers. Pre-listing inspections give sellers the chance to work with us to uncover issues or necessary repairs. We’ll also give you our expert recommendations on what repairs to make before showing the property.
New Construction HOME Inspection
Before the final walk-through with the builder, a new home should undergo a new construction home inspection. We thoroughly search the home for building defects and anything that may have been overlooked during construction. This allows the builder to better prepare the home for its walk-through, which results in an easier and smoother move-in experience.

ONE YEAR HOME Warranty Inspection
Many newly constructed homes are sold along with a 12-month builder’s warranty that covers the cost of repairs associated with constructional defects. During a one year home warranty inspection, we help homeowners identify the repairs they should request before their warranty expires. This prevents you from becoming financially responsible for problems that should fall to the original builder.
Re-Inspection
After a buyer’s home inspection, the buyer and seller of a home will come to an agreement about what repairs should be made before closing. Once those repairs are made, a re-inspection can be performed in order to ensure all agreements were honored and that the necessary repairs were made.
Commercial Building Inspection
During a commercial property inspection, we help buyers of commercial buildings better understand their potential new property before making the final purchase. Just like our home inspection services, we make sure that our commercial inspections are thorough and backed by our experienced and dedicated inspectors. We provide you with a detailed report that clearly breaks down our findings and recommendations.
Additional INSPECTION Services – Offered Standalone or Bundled
Radon Testing
Radon is a radioactive gas that occurs naturally in soil. As radon rises from the ground, it can enter a home and build to dangerous levels. Exposure to radon can cause serious health problems. Detection is impossible without professional equipment. MKC Associates offers professional radon testing, either standalone or bundled with our home inspection services, to keep your home safe.
WDI Inspection
Although small, wood-destroying insects (WDIs), including termites, can cause major and expensive property damage. This damage can result in structural instability, which is extremely dangerous. During a WDI Inspection, we search the home thoroughly for signs of an infestation and/or damage from these creatures. We’ll also check for common contributing factors that attract WDIs, like excess moisture.

Drone Inspection
In a situation where a roof’s pitch or material makes it unsafe to walk on foot, an aerial drone inspection can be used to collect high-resolution images of the roof so we can safely and thoroughly inspect for damages and defects. Drone inspections help ensure no stone goes unturned before going to closing.

Infrared Camera Inspection
Leaks, improper insulation, moisture intrusion, electrical hotspots, and other heating system problems can lead to damage and costly repairs. Our infrared camera inspection uses infrared cameras to help visualize and detect thermal energy in the home. This helps us identify areas of heat loss or excessive heat in all areas of the home. We’ll use that information to uncover problem areas and give you solution recommendations.

Property Consulting and Diagnostic Work
Property owners and condominium associations deserve to know how to troubleshoot the common issues that affect a property. We offer property consulting and diagnostic work to give you a clear understanding of your unique property and the problems you’re dealing with. After our inspection, we offer our professional advice about remediation, maintenance, and repair.

HOA Inspection for Condo Associations
We offer HOA Inspections for condominium associations who want to keep their building safe and well-maintained without having to inspect each individual unit. We thoroughly inspect the common areas of the property to determine if defects and damages exist. Keep in mind that we’re never here to “sell” you anything. We work for you to give you the tools you need to get proper quotes from contractors.
